Natural Haven is a small business dedicated to handcrafting soaps and other
body care products in the most natural, holistic way possible. What our bodies
contact on the outside is just as important as what our bodies contact on the inside.
So it makes sense to put only good things on our skin. The simple, nurturing
body care products that Natural Haven creates are carefully crafted by hand
from scratch, using only ingredients that are naturally obtained,
organically produced, and/or unrefined.
When you first try a Natural Haven soap, lip balm, or other handcrafted product,
you will be delighted at how gentle, soothing, and healing it is to your body,
and how good it makes you feel all over. There are no synthetic fragrances,
synthetic colors, or synthetic preservatives ever used in Natural Haven products,
as those artificial compounds contain chemicals that can have the potential for interfering
with the natural body processes.
Some Natural Haven creations contain natural essential oils for
aromatherapy enjoyment, while other products are left completely unscented for
those who do not wish to have any scent at all. Any coloring used comes from
natural sources, such as spices, herbs, roots, flowers, vegetables, and fruits.
And only natural ingredients, such as grapefruit seed extract,
citric acid, honey, and/or Vitamin E, are used as natural preservatives when needed.
Cold-Process Method
Natural Haven soap is made using the cold-process method.
This simply means that during soapmaking the oils, butters, and/or waxes are
kept at low temperatures, which results in the retention of their protective and healing
properties. This includes all of the natural glycerin, which is retained in each gentle,
moisturizing bar of soap. The bars are handcut individually for a rustic look,
and each bar is given careful attention before it is wrapped for sale.
The same low temperature process is also used in crafting our other products.
You will feel these exquisite, healing qualities in each
of our natural products that you use.

Although Natural Haven targets the wholesale market, as our small inventory allows,
we also sell retail to individuals who are seeking natural body care alternatives.
